Site Health Monitor
by AllWPCare · part of the plugin family
One health score and a short list in plain English: what broke quietly, how bad it is, and what to fix first. 47 checks run in the background, and nothing leaves your site.
Sentences, not codes.
Your site hit 3 fatal errors in the last 24 hours. Most of them came from Fancy Slider. Fatal errors can show visitors a broken page.
WordPress's scheduled tasks have not run for 6 hours. Things that happen on a timer, like scheduled posts and update checks, may be stuck.
Your SSL certificate expires in 9 days. After that, visitors will see a scary browser warning.
Wording from the plugin. Each item also shows what it saw and links to a guide on how to fix it.
What it watches.
Errors
What your PHP error log says, grouped by the plugin or theme that wrote it.
Scheduled tasks
Whether WordPress's timer is running and keeping up.
Updates
What is waiting, and whether WordPress can still look for updates.
Known vulnerabilities
Off by default. A free public list, checked only if you switch it on.
Versions and server
PHP, database and WordPress versions, with end-of-support dates.
Storage and growth
Disk, uploads, database and autoloaded options, with growth over time.
Performance
Caching, and whether the site can call itself.
Security basics
HTTPS, certificate expiry, search visibility and open registration.
Whether the mail your site sends actually leaves.
Connectivity
Whether the site can reach WordPress.org and make outgoing requests.
30 are the plugin's own. The rest run WordPress's built-in Site Health tests in the background and, unlike WordPress, keep the results. 9 checks can be critical: when one fails in that way, such as fatal errors in the last 24 hours or an expired certificate, the score is capped, so a high number never sits next to a broken site.
A site can't watch its own uptime.
WellTend Health Monitor runs inside your WordPress site. When your site is down, the plugin is down with it, so it can never be the one to tell you. It says this on its first screen, and the scheduled-tasks check means "WordPress's timer is running", not "your site is up".
For that job, use any outside uptime service. It does not need to be ours. It also is not a backup, a malware scanner or a firewall, and it will not claim to be.
Private, quiet, read-only.
Nothing leaves your site by default
A default install makes no external requests and has no telemetry. The one optional lookup, for known security problems, is off until you switch it on, and sends only plugin slugs and your WordPress version. Read exactly what leaves.
Nothing runs on a page load
An hourly and a daily background task do the checking, time-limited and resumable. A visit to your site makes no database query for this plugin and loads none of its code.
It explains. It does not change your site.
No automatic fixes, no edits to wp-config.php, no deleted files. Every item links to a guide. The one button that changes anything empties the error log, after you confirm.
Works with the other plugins.
WellTend Snapshots
Its settings are included in snapshots and exports as health.settings, so you can compare and restore them. Recipients and log paths are marked per-environment, so a staging copy never starts emailing the owner of the live site.
WellTend Site and Admin Toolkit
Same AllWPCare menu, same standard: small, careful and undoable. The Toolkit changes how your site behaves; Health Monitor tells you when something quietly stopped working.
Safe Updates
An idea in the workshop that would take a snapshot before an update and use these checks to notice if the update broke the site. Nothing to install yet.
Free is the whole monitor. Pro comes later.

Before you install.
Can it tell me when my site is down?
No, and it says so on its first screen. A plugin lives inside your site, so when your site is down, it is down too. Use an uptime service for that. The scheduled-tasks check means WordPress's timer is running, not that your site is up.
Is this the same as Tools > Site Health?
It complements it. WordPress's Site Health shows a snapshot and forgets it. This plugin runs those tests in the background, keeps history, and adds an error log view, scheduled-task depth, update age, growth, certificate expiry and an optional weekly email, each in plain language. It never hides or changes the core screen.
Does it slow my site down?
No. Checks run in the background, never on a page load. The only thing a visit loads is a few small hooks.
Does it send my data anywhere?
Not by default. The optional vulnerability lookup sends the slugs of your WordPress.org plugins and themes and your WordPress version to WPVulnerability, and nothing that identifies your site. It is off until you turn it on.
Be first when it lands on WordPress.org.
One email when the plugin is approved, one when Pro opens. Nothing else.
