This page explains what information allwpcare.com handles and why.

Analytics

The site uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics, which counts page views and clicks on buttons such as "Download" or "Get notified". Google sets cookies to tell visits apart and receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads. We use this only to see which pages and plugins people find useful. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell the data. You can block it with a browser setting or a content blocker, and the site keeps working. Newsletter

If you subscribe, the site stores the following in its own database: your email address (in lowercase), the interests you signed up for (for example "general", a plugin you want to hear about, or the Pro waitlist), the page you signed up from, the consent wording shown next to the form and the time you agreed to it, a hash of your IP address, a private unsubscribe token, and the dates the record was created, updated and, if you leave, unsubscribed. The IP address is hashed with a secret salt and the raw address is not stored. Signing up again with the same address updates the same record and adds any new interests.

The data is used only to send the emails you asked for, and it is not sold or shared for advertising. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that opens a page with a confirm button. Unsubscribing keeps a record that you opted out, so you are not emailed again by mistake, and you can ask for the record to be deleted entirely through the contact form.

Contact form

If you send a message, your name, email address and message are emailed to the site owner through Cloudflare Email Sending. The message is not stored on the website. They are used only to reply to you.

Cookies and local storage

The site itself stores one preference in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme choice. It never leaves your device. The analytics cookies described above are set by Google.

Your rights

You can ask to see or delete the information held about you by using the contact form.
